Hi Deanna, "The name bonbon (or bon-bons) refers to any of several types of sweets, especially small candies enrobed in chocolate. "
The Victorians had some sort of utensil for almost anything you can imagine, especially at their very ornate dinner parties, one hostess would always try to "out do" the other with some new silver piece at each consecutive dinner party, especially Mrs. Astor and Mrs. Vanderbuilt I think it was.
Thanks for stopping by, you are my most faithful follower.

Love, Rose

I am building little miniature cottages and your images are so inspiring. I tried to subscribe but could not do so, but I saved you in my Pinterest Blog section. I love the tiny house made of sewing items and flowers that is sitting in a large bowl. Could not find any source for this photo.
